A Family rated "G" forum what a great idea!

:DI just got my latest issue of Blade Magazine and in the ads section in back I found this forum. It bills itself as a "G" rated forum.:eek:

I was very impressed! In this day and age to find someone who wants to stand up and say NO MORE to the filth,porn,and vicious slanderous thugs that seem to haunt almost every other knife forum.

I have children and grandchildren who use my computer and also use,carry,and collect knives. Some of the things that they have told me were shocking. My teenage daughter was brought to tears just a month ago on a very different knife forum that is now blocked on all our computers.

Kudos to the people in charge for offering family's a place where they can ALL come to meet,talk,and show their love of knives without fear of the out of control nuts out there.

I hope that your moderators will keep on top of this diversified forum for you and help keep this place a family safe forum. Fun for all!

I also am impressed with the "G" rating. The people here seem to all get along well. Just a bunch of bro's and sista"s.

I like the format too and the fact this is all knives. I'm no prude and I appreciate a nekkid woman as much as the next guy but what the heck does it have to do with knives and so many knife fourms feel obligated to have a porn section? There are a few million other websites where you can easily find porn if you want to.

It reminds me of the old days when every service station (yes, they used to have service) had to have the mandatory nudie calendar hanging in the shop even if it was 3 years out of date.

There's also plenty of other places to debate religion and politics, talk about hot rods or cooking. I'm here for the Blades!

The G rating was laughed at a bit, and may be made light of elsewhere,.. but it has certainly been beneficial to the general friendly atmosphere of both the makers and collectors here.
We're all regular folks, we all try to get along well, and a lot of us can be rowdy company for a fact, but here , unlike anywhere else,you can relax,ask the wife or kids to come visit,and not be nearly so wary of what they will see, be told, or stumble across.
We're glad to have you Sir.

The G rating stays.
That doesn't mean I personally mind all that much the shenanigans on other sites. I'm in the middle of some of it but this is a business/family friendly forum, not a life style entertainment forum.
