A new style I'm working on.

Functionality PLUS style (and great workmanship)! What are the handle materials? I also like the way the sharpening notch is positioned in front of the grind line (I'm still pretty new to this, so maybe a lot of knives here are the same, but in the knives I have made I have centered the notch in the grind line)- on the next one I make I'm going to try pushing it forward like these. Am wondering what the blade finish was on the second one- is it stone washed?

Thanks. The top knife is AEB-L @ 62Rc, cream spalted maple scales. The second knife is S35VN @ 61Rc, black Warwood scales sanded to 600 grit. I didn't finish the flats like I normally would as it's a test piece. The blade was ground to 750 grit and then stone washed. I grind all my knives after I heat treat them.
