440C backspring??

Hello all - A question here, while I've always used (for the VERY few I've made) the same 14C28N for backspring as well as blade in slipjoints..... would it be a really no-no to use 440C for the backspring with 14C28N for blade in a slipjoint? I've got 14C28N, but not much, but do have a nice bar of 440C that I'm just not using for blades after learning about Sandvik steels.

Should the color match close enough between 440C and 14C28N from blade to backspring? OR - do you think it would clash?

Thanks Calvin - I was hoping you'd chime in. I couldn't see a problem with it, but figured I'd better ask.
