I'll nominate this knife of mine. It was a special occasion knife, my take on an 18th century Persian Kard. If I had to pick, it is probably my favorite knife I've ever made. The combination of the visual lines, the history and the work that went into this make it very special for me.
Forged from 1075 steel, bronze collar with bronze accents, damascus spacer and finial and high relief carved Blackwood handle with stippled background.
I would like to nominate Bruce Bump for his Cattle Baron Bowie. It is a true work of art. The fit and finish is amazing. The pattern of Damascus and dyed Sambar Stag combined with the engraving make it a personal favorite.
One of my few projects from this year.
