18th Anniversarry in Knifemaking

Well I hit my Knifemaking anniversary this last September and I wanted to make something different. This is a Steampunk knife inspired by some of the works of Van Barnett.

This is a 180 layer, random pattern Damascus. 4 1/4" blade. The handle scales are brass, and have all fully operational gears. Everything moves ! Each side is driven from a drive gear just inside the handle that the holder operates. Pretty fun project in all. This one is numbered J.S.21
