1075 quench...

Hunting is one of the things that is worth leaving the shed for but that knife is a beauty and will serve the hunter very well indeed. Be some pride in carrying such a nice knife.

Thanks Cliff, yea Being the bolsters were G10 made re-etching less stressful but re-sanding the blade was a little tricky bringing it up to the bolsters and not marring the polished faces.
 
Here's a couple photos of my second knife with a hamon, it's 1075 finished to 2000 grit. Bocote scales with black liners, black G10 bolsters, nickel silver pins and lanyard hole.
