i tryed a hamom with a wird side. one side of my 1095 turned out good and the other side did about 1/3 of the other . what did i do wrong? i don't think the clay was to thick, but maybe it was. thanks vern

Been off do to stroke and need a little help. I heat-treated 4 blades of 1095 , cleaned them up and started to sand them down for a saten look. sanded to 400 grit by hand (for med reason) and i see a gost of carbon in the blade , so i did it again,and again,and again. it still there, so how...

When I polish a blade i take it up to 1200, and it looks great.So i thought i would try using just belts and when i got to 800 which i thing is x65 i get a divot and this is with a new belt on a new platen . So i need some help on this so i don't do it again. thanks for looken and thanks for...

plunge line ,which way do you like to do yours, straight or concave.Wwith using the belt it is concaved and then if you use a file u can make it straight. vern

I milled a bloodline in a new blade and was wondering how to get the little lines out of the bloodline, that the bit put in it. the bloodline is a 1/4 " wide and about 3/16 deep. any help would be nice. thanks vern
