Hey Wade, since I used 440c I threaded the end of the tang and used a stainless button head bolt, just big enough to cover the hole in the lock.

Got a neck knife done. Can also clip it to you pocket. It is 5 1/4" long and a 2" blade. 440c and black/blue denim I made.
