    Ernie I used a pice of micarta it is a great electrical insulator. Behind it there are ceramic tubes to go through the steel wall that the elements go through and it is set out with stainless steel standoffs for spacers.     Here are a couple that we have taken around the house. The first one is a baby stickbug that my daughter took on her finger and the second one is a tree frog i found sitting in one of the plants in our flower bed. Both takem with my old olympus point and shoot on macro. Enjoy Bob

    Every once in a while i make one of these miniatures. This one is 1 7/16" o.a. with 10k gold fittings and a stabilized box elder burl handle. And it is fully heat treated :3: . Enjoy Bob
