The one I've used the most and carry everyday is a Boye colbalt-bladed, Zytel-handled piece that's one of the 'boating knives' without the marlin spike. It's completely non-ferrous/non-magnetic with the fittings and pocket clip made out of 304 stainless so it basically impervious to any...

Everything but the blade is basically doubled and, of course, the trick is to have both handles exactly the same in all respects......except to designate a 'safe handle' or maybe something aesthetic......don't want to upset the balance.

Shawn thought it was kinda crazy at first but I thought it was about the best Utility blade I had ever seen.......so I called it the TAC-U (Tactical-Utility) because of the spectacularly looooong swedge and subtle re-curve......needless to say, Shawn's impeccable grinds and flawless hand-rubbing...

FYI.....Jody never 'made' any balis, he ground the blades for B-S, Inc., PCC and BM Custom Shop, MANY THOUSANDS OF BLADES. ;)

Marlowes are fine and so are the balis by Balibalistic aka Shawn Grecian. I have several balis from Chris Olofson of 29Knives fame that are exceptional along with work by Ikoma, Dobruski, the aforementioned Les George, the late Ron Miller, John Salley, and of course the most prolific of all...
