    Moms new AEB-L skinner

Ty Sean, I have a habit of taking a pic every few massive steps to record my knives progress. It has been a trying time for me to make things balance, and with any hobby maker family and life have a tendancy to change the amount of time spend w knife making. My wife gave me a nudge to set up...

    Legal Handle Materials

How could it not be a shed? It is a two sided issue that comes down to the basics of guilty till proven innocent or innocent till proven guilty Some time back some one really screwed it all up for the present situation with the white tail antlers down there.

Sort of a silly question. Do you take your knives with you to cook at someone's house

Life and home ownership has cut into my online time. Also my version of tapatalk has pooped out on me. Now am busy with my endless honey do's and sneaking in knife time, and getting my Yuk fixed and on the road. All of which have managed to keep me busy.

Sort of a silly question. Do you take your knives with you to cook at someone's house

Soo true. MIL will not touch knives in our house for the reason of they are sharp. My wife has gotten to the point of telling me her chef is dull when she has to use a saw motion to get it cutting into a tomato. 6 to 10 passes on the ceramic back to the sharp cutter she loves. It is sad for...

Sort of a silly question. Do you take your knives with you to cook at someone's house

Is a great plan but I was asked to not sharpen or make any for them because she knew my idea of dull is her idea of sharp. She doesn't want to cut herself.

Here I go on to the big world of kitchen blades.

Price point has been discussed and noted that is a "sale price" as she is the first customer from Florida for me. The factor of setting a price when it was nap time after working all night had a lil to do with it. The rookie skills mindset also had a part in my underbid. Is a learning moment...

    A few of my projects

Your off to a good start and are seeing the small oops or newbie booboos. Here is a oh shoot moment I had. I drilled holes to allow epoxy to flow through the tang to both scales as a bright idea and accidentally drilled a pin hole in the scale. Live and learn. Save the oops blades for learning...

What's going on in your shop?

Aldo seems to be the only one who has AEBL in 48" L others have it but in 12 to 18"L. You might try seeing if your local steel supplier can get a sheet of .070 and shear it for you in desired widths. Canadian knifemakers supply has .070 aebl razor steel in 2"widths produced by uddelholm(sp) I...

What's going on in your shop?

John, its an exact copy of the knife her mom has. I am gonna talk to her about it a lil more an see about doing away with it since its a pain to clean up in the small crevice by the transition of curve to straight. I wanted 070 for fillet and boning knives but Aldo was out at valentines day...
