You're likely not going to find a metal cutting bandsaw blade sold with more than 24TPI. It will certainly do the job, but again, if you push too hard, you'll start breaking teeth off. Because of how thin 1/16" stock is, the 24TPI will still want to cut pretty aggressively, so just take it...

Just a quick tip on TPI selection: You typically want about 3 teeth in the material at any given time. Otherwise you risk just shearing the teeth right off if you feed too aggressively.

You might try clamping a 2x4 into your vise instead, edge up, and then driving a screw through one of your pin holes, to hold your blade blank onto the edge of the 2x4. I have used and carried both, but always favored tip up for some reason. Maybe it's the clip location, or maybe just how I've gotten use to pulling the knife out of my pocket and opening. Maybe it's a little bit of both.

Good question... they both make decent knives for the money, though I feel like the last couple of RRs I bought had a slightly better fit and finish than the last Schrade I bought. Not that it was bad per say. I'd say you wouldn't go wrong with either, for the money anyway.

I'm with Ken. It sounds like you have a single phase motor, and your typical VFD requires a 3 phase motor to function. With that said, the KBAC-27d is one of the few options out there that will get you 1.5hp on 110VAC. Most of your sub $100 chinese made VFDs wiill require 220VAC input, or if...
