I'm in the same boat... should have the sheath about done tonight. A little cleanup on the knife, mark and sharpen.

I love mine! I'm running a 1.5 HP Leeson with 3 pos. step pulleys. I pretty much agree with everything that's been said here... especially getting the Fenner PowerTwist belts!

Been kind of quiet in here... How's everyone coming along? I've got the bolsters pinned and the epoxy curing on the slabs. If nothing stupid happens, I should have it wrapped up by the weekend and possibly a start on the sheath.

Very cool! I've only used bocote a few times, but it never had nice flowing figure like that. The stuff i had was almost tiger striped. I would have sworn that was high grade cocobolo. Might have to give it another try if I can find some nicer stuff.
