The title says it all :) I need to sand the flats on a lot of knives starting with 80g and my elbows really hurt now I did bit of reasearch i thonk the most suitable are the oscillating and the random So anybody has any feedback on them? Thanks

hey guys this is my first oven straightening trial blade is 5155, after heat treat. i assembled it to angle iron in oven with clamps (no shims) put it in oven with intent to leave at 200 C. it went up to aprox 250C, left for two hours thats what i got in the end the blade was still...

for liners like g10, micarta, etc. i use epoxy. flatten the inner side of the scale and rough both with sand paper (usually 60 grit) then clean with acetone then alcohol then glue. just be careful not to apply too much pressure, that squeezes epoxy out. spring clamps mostly work well for that i...
