    Second the Caswell Black oxide. http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/black.htm It gives a nicer more even finish. You can actually use them together. Tool black first, clean up, then dip in the black oxide and get a darker finish. Tool black kit at Mcmaster Carr is part number...

    Thanks, That is just a regular dremel brand 1/8" carbide cutter running wide open as fast as the dremel can spin it. The setup is kind of flimsy so you can't push too hard or the serrations will be uneven, but with a little practice you can cut them clean. Scoring the marks is a must otherwise...

    I get those from McMaster Carr to. I'll dig up part numbers. You need an adapter sized for the shaft of your buffer and I usually get the hard, fine cut wheel. mo

    Per Bill, per MO per Les George that's the stuff. In the pics its actually the Harbor Freight media but definitely go with the Mcmaster product in Bill's post. That's what I use now. mo

    Yea I fried the gallery with all the pics (125) I uploaded this past weekend and they all went bye bye. I already had 60 pics in this thread when they all disappeared. I'm going to get back here and tweak it soon.
