I just used large rubber washers from Lowes and cut smaller ones from it with my punches.

No problem on making the same sheath. Let me know how it goes.

Two more quick ? for where did you get the rubber that you made the spacers out of for attaching the leather to the sheath? And second would it be OK if I copy your sheath design and the way you add the leather?

I get it from McMaster Car (part # 3435K95 ) It's the sealer that comes with the tool black kit which is also available separately.

I just read your how to build a knife and sheath great stuff. Got a ? for you, you spray your blades with a anti rust compound after the wash. What is the anti rust compound you use?
