    Latest Sheath

Nice, I used to also have a beadloom when I was in Boy Scouts! Made a few bracelets and stuff on it! Do you guys make up your own designs or do research on designs used by particular tribes?

How does one achieve this look with stag?

Thanks guys. So those deep gorges running parallel with the stag are naturally occurring? Almost looks like they are carved in and darkened.

How does one achieve this look with stag?

I have several antlers from deer I've killed that are begging to be made into knife handles. How is the dark, craggy effect achieved like in the example above? What other things can you do to stag/antler to make it pop and stand out?

Need Help ASAP with sandpaper drums

I picked up Paul Ausbrooks' knife this morning from the post office. I am honored to have received such a well made knife and sheath. The fit and finish of the knife is top notch! The leatherwork on the sheath is superb as well. This knife is going to have a very long and useful life in my...

Has anyone seen this wood before, if so? CAN YOU NAME IT???

The chatoyancy and grain reminds me of black walnut, but it's not quite dark enough. I did just do a search for english walnut burl and walnut burl and found some pieces that looked similar.

    Utility sheath

Travis, it's the NeatLac that gives your sheaths that soft glow, I really like them. I might have to pick up some of that and give it a try. Any pointers for applying it properly?
