    It will work fine, I have made a couple with 1/8 1084 and they work fine, I usually use 3/32. Ill throw in with Dave though, it works much better on a bigger knife. The two I made with it were 4".

    Well said. I agree with the rest, tell him you just dont have the time because you are taking care of your other customers. As for the numbers, you can check the ABS site, I dont know about JS but there are only about 125? MS in the world.

    Grind after HT. Use new belts to avoid heat build up, it wont take long to grind a folder blade.
