Just finished a couple orders for my largest (~8 58") slipjoint folder. Orange one has a CPM-154 blade. The other one has a D2 blade, stellar sea cow bone scales, filework, and a little extra belly for skinning. Thanks for the look! -Phil
Congrats on the nice folder! I use Teflon washer quite a bit but like Frank says they do compress. You have to allow for the compression by making your backspacer a little thinner.
Thanks Ausbrooks! It's not too tricky...just have to go slow, keep the heat moving and watch for the colors. If you get impatient, you'll likely over shoot the color you're after.
