My second rawhide sheath

^^^^ Thanks guys. I’ll reach out if needed. I made this one awhile back out of cow hide. I’m going to use goat rawhide on the one I’m thinking about. The last one turned out ok. It turned out good - just to heavy imho. The leather wrapped in cowhide was just too bulky and heavy.

I’m contemplating making a rawhide sheath for the forged blade. Rawhide front lined with deerskin and a traditional leather backing. Leather lacing all around. Maybe resembling the sketch below. I’m sure DeMo could pull it off without any trouble.

I wish I could help but I don’t know any epoxy that would work that way. But I’m following this thread.

I suspect his business may not recover. These issues could and should have been addressed up front.
