I recently straightened a 2+ inch wide Nakiri, worked great. But it left marks on the blade in an area that i couldn't grind deep enough to remove them. Any ideas about to get around that problem?

If you work with it - What's your recipe for AEB-L? Per L.T's recommendations - I've been Austentizing AEB-L at 1975, plain dry ice (no slurry), and 350 temper 2x2. I average about Rc 62 with that method. I've considered lowering the Tempering to 325 to bump the hardness a bit. Thoughts?

I agree and yes, it's a dirty job. There's usually a limit on size in the blast cabinet. Electrolysis can be scaled to match whatever the need, like the mower deck that I cleaned that way. It does require scrubbing the black gunk off for final finish.
