    It can be stabilized, but they do it at the end of the run, because it bleeds color into the syrup. It also costs extra because of this extra handling, etc. -Larry

    Tom if you got only a few blocks to do then by all means just use your 6 x 48 sander or whatever, but I spend enough money on my "sander / grinder" belts the way it is, and I go thru them quickly with the stabilized materials.     Hey Steve, Heres my take on the CA finish......Its a lot easier to do it on a lathe with a spinning pen blank than a stationary knife scale. I don't think its necessary to go thru the trouble of all the layers and sanding and trying to get it even, when you can take a properly stabilized handle...
