Works great,you just kinda turn the bag inside out as you take it off.

That's the exact one I have been using it for about 6 or 7 years,I also slip a plastic sandwich bag over it to clean up around my mill and lathe and you just pull the baggie off and all the swarf comes with it.

I just use a magnetic with a handle.

Couple of my Northern lights in A2 for a couple of brothers for Christmas. There Father ordered them and now tells me he wished he had ordered one for himself.

Its dyed twice so you get two different colors, as you turn this handle in the light it goes from light blue to dark blue to black.

I'm doing my best to get Christmas orders out and just finished this one,A Santoku in A2 with double dyed stabilized quilted maple and a Ash storage sheath.

I would also add that sanding and polishing hardened A2 is not fun.

I can relate to the melted paint brush lol,that's a good work around for oil finish but I dont think it will replace the melted paint brush sitting on top of the can of past wax lol .

Just checking in ,I haven't posted in a while but I've been extremely busy up here.My job on the north slope got even more demanding with all the lay offs and the covid baloney. The homelife has also kept me jumping through hoops as we had lots of projects going on at the homestead and also...

I've used lacquer on it before,back when I was making custom bows I used fuller plastic two part epoxy finished on my bow risers but that sometimes would not harden on cocobolo so all my cocobolo risers got shot with lacquer.

It looks like you had a blow out when you drilled the hole,there are tell tail signs of that in the front of the tube as well,if you want to get rid of it your going to have to thin that handle down a little to get past it.
