Planning on getting a 10 inch contact wheel soon and just wondering what the proper way to connect it to the tooling arm would be? Do I need a sleeve or bushing or just a bolt, washers and nuts?
Any thoughts ideas or help with any of this is appreciated.

Have these 2 WIP.
My MezaChete for a customer and a kitchen utility knife for my sister in law.
Need to clean up the bevels and flats on the large blade. Biggest knife to date I've ever ground out and those lines got away from me a bit!
getting ready to get these out to HT today- including a custom order of what I'm calling a "Mezza-Chete" because its about 1/2 the size of a traditional Machete. It will have the Wormy Chestnut that this customer wanted on this blade.
I got my hands on 2 boards of this Wormy Chestnut that are about 3 ft long/5 inches wide and 1 inch thick. These were reclaimed barn wood that was cut from the barn beams. According to the person who gave this to me- is over 75 years old. It looks good and has a good weight- does show the...
I am also in agreement- I have been cutting out 6 blades at a time and sending for HT- then as mentioned- grind all at the same time. Helps alot because of the repetitive action and muscle memory really kicks in, so my grinds seem better.
You are correct and not most of the marks I see are on the left side. Although this is more prevalent in folders. Being that the show side is the main focus. With fixed blades I have seen both ways left and right. That is the main reason I redid my logo to decrease the size as to not have a...
I just had my Makers Mark updated, new one will have no box or border to it- and about a 25% reduction in size and inverted the marked area- was wondering where everyone is placing their marks. Left side- right side- upper area or below the bevel or on the ricasso.
Finally got the small wheel attachment and small wheel set. Did end up mounting it on the same arm opposite of the tool rest. Then can juse flip when needed. Works great!
Inkscape as well-- can actually use a pic or drawing you made and import it into Inkscape and use that as a base for your template.
