    And now am starting on the 320 grit and thinking that since this will be a working blade I am gonna go for a simple satin sheen and hope to not end up with a gloss reflective again. When is enough sanding enough? After one more sheet right?

    Got both sides ground and now am on the most drawn out labor intensive part, hand sanding. Went from the 320 belt finish back to the 220 hand sanding and discovered the monkey at the grinder got a bit eager and made a divot next to the plunge lines. Important knife being made so of course...

    Price having a flange cut for direct drive vs pulleys,bearings,shafts belt. Or go with bolting it directly to the baseplate a couple bolts,nuts,washers is even cheaper and is the same effect. Is my plan any way.

    Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!

    Story of my life, worked all night and then busted butt to get turkey,ham, and all other fixins for yesterday. Discovered that the bbq will heat a spiral sliced 9lb ham in about an hr at 350 to 400° burned the glaze in the bottom in half that. Hope all had a happy thanksgiving.

    Alright a fellow KMD sufferer. I tried cleaning my shop also today and made it as far as the project box and then it became a trip to the grinder then bandsaw an back to the grinder. Lol Thats a spiffy lil blade, I think I may have to make some of these thanks to a whole hoof care specialist.
