    I personally love stickers when I buy stuff ... just not too big. Some are those big ovals are a bit overkill. Small vinyl cut stickers are great. I put them on my truck back window .. my laptop ... drill press ... anywhere.

That said, I’m installing a PID controller in my $20 toaster oven I got from Aldi Cut the controls out and riveted a piece of stainless I had from an old grill shelf.     What is the recommendation here? I make mainly smaller blades right now so I can get by with smaller volumes of quenchant (so far at least)

    Yikes ... looks like it was too hard/brittle but I’m just a journeyman here. I have enjoyed the comments thus far ... lol My wife often refers to the forged in fire “bat hitting blade against metal pipe” test ..

    I have the same style and yes you can use wear glasses with them. They're pretty handy. Originally got them for some fine soldering work on electronics projects.

    Had some scrap pre-stained leather ... so I banged out a basic sheath today ... still need to mold and polish but it keeps the blade safe ... it does have a belt loop but only took one picture

    Skinner WIP

    Just got this one going over the weekend. Roughed with angle grinder then hand filed. First time using micarta for scales ... that stuff is tough. I don’t have a band saw but it’s gonna turn out ok I think. 1080B steel heated to non magnetic and quenched in canola ... 2 x 2 hr cycles at as close...
