Well I finally got to put the Severe angle work rest together I bought from CDHumiston (Thank you Chris!). I bought 3, 1-1/2"x1-1/2" x 20" chunks of aluminum and made the tool arm, doing thatat least they were 1/2 the price of buying them pre-made!! Easy to make too! The cheapest I could find...

Yeah, the Mica Powder I've been using has a Pearlescent effect. Pretty neat and it happens all by itself, no extra work!! LOL!!

Haven't felt like making any knives lately! Everyone that's asked me for prices think pricing is to much! I havnt changed pricing!! If anything they should go up due to material costs!! Been making scales lately nice break from knives but I'm still involved in the Knife making community. Anyway...

I use the 309 but strictly for Stainless Steels. I felt the 321 for the SS was marginal because of the SS's higher temperature to harden. The 309 gave me a bit of wiggle room I felt.

Question about this knife. I've only seen pictures and have never handled one. I have a customer that wants me to build one close to but with my custom twist? I know the handles are made from stacked leather. Is the handle round or oval. The pictures I've looked at show smal tapers on the front...
