Yes it is like a static shock I can see little arcs from the metal on the grinder to my fingers. Yes the humidity is lower that normal.

My belt grinder is starting to shock me. What do I need to check first?

Ummm 9:30 am is really early for me, I meant clip point. clip point, clip joint amaizing what one wrong little constanant will do to a word.
