I'm a retired military man myself, 4 years USMC and 16 years US Army, Vietnam Vet and pretty banged up. I'm 72 and retired in 1979, yup, I'm getting old. When I was in the Corps I was a 6511, aviation ordnanceman also, with VMF 333, the Shamrocks. I still remember IYAOYAS. When I transferred to the Army I went back to being an infantryman, which i really liked. I've been making knives for around 30 years. The picture of the knife made by a man with no arms or hands in my opinion is the finest knife ever made. Welcome to the forum and hang in there with your knife making. I can be out in my shop working on a knife and time just flies by. I'm heading out there in about an hour.
