**All have been sold**
Finally finished the small batch of frame locks I have been working on. If you aren't familiar with them, I have a build thread over in the "Knifemakers Discussion Forums" section. There are 6 total for sale. 3 of them have the MagnaCut blades and the other 3 are O1 tool...

I have finally finished up the small batch run. Overall I am happy with how these turned out. This was the first time I have made a small batch like this, can't say I'll do it again anytime soon! Also the first time working with a stainless steel, probably will do more in the future, once I have...
Next step was to sharpen up the blade. Everyone has their own methods to do this. I use my Wicked Edge so that I can get consistent angles on both sides. The four that I have been finishing up were sharpened to 18 degrees per side.
Next step was to anodize the hardware. To do this, I use an...
Once the lockup was dialed in, I chamfered the sharp edge of the lockface to keep it from digging into the lockbar.
Then it was time to grind the bevels. Going slow and dunking between each pass, finally got them done.

First order of business was the get the edges of the blade up to a 400 grit finish. This was accomplished with...
Just bought a carbide peening hammer from KHDaily Knives. After reading some of the forum posts (and suggestion from REK Knives) on this method and talking with Kyle, I think this is my best option right now. Gonna take a few days to get the hammer to me, but looking forward to trying it out...

Does the hammer leave divots that need to be ground out?
I am about .005-6 over final thickness, so anymore grinding makes me nervous.
Byington Blades. They are in California, I'll call once they open and see. The Rockwell was supposed to be around 64, the paper they sent me is confusing, so I want to clarify that as well.
So I got the blades in yesterday. Very disappointed, all 7 are warped to some degree. I assembled the knives and the blades aren't centered. Placed them on my granite surface plate and there is some wobble in them. I'm gonna try to clamp them to overcompensate for the warps and re-temper...
