    Ivory Hunter

Thank you! I had my issues with it, but turned out OK. Might be my personal knife.

    Ivory Hunter

Worked on a smaller blade. W2 with rookie hamon. Fossil walrus ivory handle and copper spacer.

Baker forge has it from time to time.

    Extinction!

Better pics outside so the colors show.

    Extinction!

I am playing with idea of having both. Carve out something on the spacer or guard that matches.

    Extinction!

The copper was meant to be aged to a green color to match the greenish tint in the ivory. Better pics in daylight tomorrow. Only thing is I have to clear coat that.

    Extinction!

Frame handle that I continue to play with. Soooooo many mistakes, but got past them. I’m keeping this one for testing and ideas. I change it daily! Lol. steel from Baker Forge, copper everything, and mammoth ivory scales. Frame is 1084 as it was all I had the correct thickness. Vote for...

    Cheap Gift Knife

I don’t disagree with that. I have both Parks AAA and Parks 50 after being concerned about all the other easy to obtain oils. Expensive for the hobbyist that only makes a few knives a year, although I am making more now. I also bought an oven after concerns on temperature accuracy and...

    Cheap Gift Knife

You can criticize and I still don’t mind! Lol. It has its issues. I use some to test new things and methods. There are successes ands failures in there. I learned that I can retexture elk and it will color like Sambar. I learned that I can superglue parts together and guarantee filing...

    Cheap Gift Knife

Well, I had never used it solely before, but had bought a couple bars. I was working on another knife and decided to make this one along with it. When it came time to quench, the other knife needed the slower oil and I never stopped to think about it, so I quenched in slower oil. I always...

    Cheap Gift Knife

That was not my intent. Cheap just meant that the components did not add up to much. I had been making a few with Damascus and ivory, so the starting point was totally different. That was all in my head when typing it up. I spent good time on it and tried some new things.

    Cheap Gift Knife

Everyone says 10XX steels in fast oil. I’m ignoring it and doing it again. Lol. Hoping for another auto hamon.
