Safety for a scale release auto

Has anyone put a safety on a scale release automatic ? It seems to me that it would potentially open while being carried in your pocket.

In what scenario would the scales be able to swivel while in your pocket?

I put a pocket clip on the folder and when I bent over , then stood back up the blade had opened, in my pocket.

I never modified anything. I try to buy stuff that is to my liking. I don’t see how a pocket clip could cause it to pop open but that might be the cause. Does it open unintentionally with the pocket clip off ?

I have had it open without the pocket clip also. I’ve managed to resolve the issue by making the lock bar spring stronger. So far so good.
