Hey guys, I am experienced knife maker but I beed some help I have made a knife (it is finished with a Brazilian Rosewood CA finished handle Photo below) but I can't sharpen it because it is too thick all the way from the spine down to the edge It is a small EDC, the blade is 4 3/8" long and only 9/16" tall and 3/16" thick Here is the problem, I can't free hand grind and I don't have the equipment to hollow grind and I think this knife needs a hollow grind to be effecient and effective Therefore I need someone to free hand hollow grind this knife and finish and sharpen the blade for me Any takers? I'll pay for the service Thanks,

Wallace

Good looking knife - that rosewood handle really pops. Have you considered a full flat grind? What metal did you use?

The metal is CPM-154 Stainless Steel Because the handle is on a full flat grind would require a free hand grind and I'm not up to that Thanks,

Wallace, I would be more than happy to help "IF" I felt comfortable in my skills (no charge of course). My thought would be a FFG which I normally use and don't see any reason it wouldn't sharpen with that. 3/16"is a pretty thick blade for a small knife like that. Any idea what Rc the blade is?

"IF" you wish to chat more my email is sailingtoo at the gmail place.
