Got a knife after my grandfather passed, navy vet wwII would like some info on it. Any help would be appreciated. I’m a gun guy so knives are pretty foreign to me. Only hallmark on the blade is Paul Jones, and the blade has definitely been heavily ground.

I did a little searching online (as I'm sure you did, too) and haven't come up with anything, yet. I'm SUPER tired, though. I'll try again when I can think straight.

I can tell ya one thing, though. That knife has got some use on it!

Actually, I can tell you something else, too. That man must have put down some serious hours with a sharpening stone!

I have an old Buck 110 (with the finger grooves) with a blade worn down like that. I found it on the ground at the beach when I was probably 10 or 11. I didn't make the blade any better with the bench grinder :D 11 year old me didn't have the patience for a sharpening stone, I guess.
