Man, you would not think it would not be so but making swords is like starting knife-making all over again. You would think it would be just like making a big knife but nope. Anyway here is my second attempt. I post it so there will be a progression people can see as I get better at making them not because the sword is perfect.
Its a modern interpretation of a Medieval short sword. 1080 blade (because that is what I had) Gun Koted mild steel guard, Of course I used maple burl for the handle (because its me) and micarta pommel. Sharp convex edge cuts what is hits. There are many things I would change to be sure. Thanks for looking.
