KNIFE MAKER
So my sister recently put in a custom order lol for a kitchen knife. I say custom because she was very specific about the handle material. We went through a couple very nice pieces of buckeye before we landed on light gray g10. Now, I have two beautiful blocks of buckeye for future projects... I’m totally addicted to wood anyway lol. The knife is made from NitroV, and I put some file work on the top. Even though the buckeye would have been TREMENDOUSLY better, I think it came out okay looking. Anyway as always critique is more than welcome. Kevin it is the small stuff that sets a mans work off from the others! When you can look at one and like it, you are well on your way at that point!! When you get to where you know there is a flaw but,...………….. no one else will see it, unless you tell them! Then you are working at a top-shelf level!!

Thanks, Ted! I have a BEAUTIFUL block of stab buckeye from John Wilson that I think would’ve looked considerably better, but that’s in the eye of the beholder. I have been surprised to see how many people like the g10. I have to be honest and say that I like it a lot more than I expected. Thanks for the compliments!
