I just finished this one up with a hand wax to the spalted tamarind scales. A friend nick named this shape, the Mako.

Thanks Rick! I've got a nice blade glued to black African wood with copper /stainless steel mosaic pins sitting on the bench as I type this. I should be able to get the scales sanded tomorrow and photo ready. I'm thinking if I don't screw up shaping the handle, it might be my nicest knife to date.

LOVE IT!! That's similar to the next one I have drawn out in my sketch book. I might try it in Damascus just bought an end cut from Alabama Damascus to play with.

Mako is perfect for this. The blade shape looks just like a Mako shark. Beautiful knife!
