tw90 question

Was lucky enough to get a TW90 from Travis earlier this year, great machine. Just wondering if anyone has fitted a larger contact wheel than the standard 8" one. I would really like to run a 12"wheel, and was hoping someone may have already tried it.

I suggest you talk with Travis about running a 12" contact wheel. You want to think of safety first.

I bought mine with a 10" wheel. I'm pretty sure he said you could go even bigger than that.

I use a 10" and a 14" on mine with no problems.

I purchased my TW-90 with a 12" contact wheel directly from Travis. Works great.

I also use my 14" KMG style wheel on my TW-90. (Travis sells an adapter that makes this possible.)

Thanks guys, I did some measuring and I thought a 12 would fit. I'll have to decide if I go for a 12 or 14 now. One more quick question, does the standard tool rest work ok with the larger wheels?

With a longer arm for the rest it shouldn't be a problem at all.
