thanks jim dont want to say this will be a wip but sure it will end up being one with all thw questions i will have :D

well learning what patients means. Did you know liner locks are tougher than they look? Well for me they seem to be.
Messed up a liner by cutting the lock to short even when I thought it would be long!!! Well doing it over again :(

Indeed, they are a lot tougher than they look. I have lots of spare pieces now, just in case you might need some. I laughed the first time someone told me I'd put it together and take it apart a hundred times before I was finished. Then I found out they were telling me the truth!

Just glad I started with the 1095 and not the titanium.
Jim your not kidding I lost track on how many times I have had it apart :)
Calvin do they make a file that thin? I don't know if I could get one in the liner to file it

Call me tomorrow and explain it to you. I'm too tired right now to type that much.

It looks like plenty of good lessons are being learned! And when its done you'll have that moment were you hold it in you hands and say wow.

OH what a rookie I am I use a bolt and a nut to tighten down to see how it would act when opening and closing when it was tighter with the washers in.
Well the bolt was not 3/16 so blade moved so I didn't mess up :) with the 3/16 pin in it is just a hare long so I can still fit buy filing the back of blade.
Boy do I feel silly.

Thanks for the offer calvin may take you up on it later for now think frank niro got me straightened out on this one.
Well guys i am a slow learner this may take a while . But darn it i am going to make a folder if it kills you guys ha ha :p
