Y a it looks like a late 80's landcruiser but i think the bed and rails might be custom work for safari use trucks i know that style is real popular in australia as well but they are hardy vehicles i have a 74 and it always gets whatever to where ever i need and nice pics steve looks like fun in africa.
 
Thats actually a 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser and a small company in Vaalwater RSA makes the custom safari racks by the dozens.

Toyota also makes this vehicle in a fully enclosed wagoneer model, kinda like a Suburban. all are right hand drive.
