B buckaroo Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2014 #1 I have been getting hard black crud on my platen. It happens with both steel and glass platen. It scrubs off with solvent. I know it is coming from the belts. Not all of the belts do it. Anyone know the cause of how to prevent it?
