Hey all - has anyone had a play with one of these? I stumbled across them & the spec is excellent - even ceramic bearings!!! How are they in the hand? How are they next to say similar Kirby Lambert knives such as the blitz?

Now that makes sense. The knives I'm pondering are the Kirby Lambert Blitz & Olamic Wayfarer - both high end custom and stainless. I'm worried I don't have the skills to sharpen a blade of this degree. The safer bet would be a TBS Boar who do a carbon steel variant. I'd prefer to keep them on...

Does anyone know the correct tool & technique to sharpen these types?

Okay - this maybe a newbie question but why are pretty much all folders made using a stainless blade? Granted - they don't rust as easy but they're also harder and brittle. This in turn lends itself to a compound going which is more difficult to maintain and less sharp than a Scandinavian...

Hey all - I'm after an EDC folder and am seriously considering: - Kirby Lambert Blitz - Olamic Wayfarer - Kirby Lambert MGT All are beautiful & well made knives but would you use them as an EDC tool? Out & about for some bushcraft? Are they just for show?

So as the title suggests I'm after a quality folder & am open to suggestions. The front runners are: - TBS Boar - Fallkniven PXLmm I'm also drooling over the Kirby Lambert MGT (I do like a Tanto) but they seem pretty rare - plus are they a 'show' knife rather than a 'go' knife. Thanks all
