Who wants to play build the workshop?! These are the rough measurements for the shop. (if needed i can do a CAD drawing)
It should contain the NWG, inverter, bench grinder, disc sander, drill press. These are the things i already have (disc sander incomplete) and i want a bench for 'clean'/hand work
Will add :anvil, freon tank gas forge, and someday a buffer also will check for dust collection system.

Whats the best way to set up all that?
Anything else to add?
Thanks!

Just think dirty in one area and clean separately and start from there. It kind of boils down to what works best for you! I have set up what I thought was a good set up, only too use is a couple of times and decide it would work better if I had this tool here and that one over there!

thanks C, yeah i had the clean part dirty part in mind, but since i have no prior experience thought there must be logical setup i'm unaware of

all i know is anvil next to forge, grinder away as possible from the rest :D

Can't stress that enough. I'm going to frame in an entire leatherworking room in my unit just to keep things clean. Even with the dust evacuation I get a lot of fines settling all over in a huge radius. I also try to have my "Hot and Cold" areas apart...my woods and other flammables, even if they're boxed or shelved, well out of the path of the grinder swarth and such.

I have what they call a plastic Strip curtain, Like used for refrigerated areas to keep as much dust as possible from the front of my
Culinary store.

In the shop itself, As C Craft said, What I thought was a great setup? Wasn't. I do have my three Grinders in a row and the Drill Press near the band saw, I have three work benches at different ends of the shop. One for handle assembly, One for Scissor sharpening. and one for my 6 X 48 Sander that has a Delta filter system by it to suck up most of the dust and a sealing cabinet for all chemical storage.

You can always switch it around later.

Have fun!
