Whats with this ?

I posted this on another forum, I sand blasted Aldo's 1084 after HT to remove scale and got some odd spots, some think I may have heated it to much any more ideas on the spots

I used fine Black diamond @90 lbs

I had the same problem with the same steel. I know that it was over heated as I was explaining the process and not paying attention to the forging process. My next knife out of the same bar came out OK. I have used about 25 bars from Aldo in the past 16 months with no other issues with it.
