WART hOG TUSK

HELLGAP

Dealer - Purveyor
Well I finished the knife I need to wax the tusk and buff the pin but other than that its done. I dont like doing these that are to say the least very difficult. I used 52100 damascus billet to make this buffallow type skinner.I heat treated it with a map gas torch and canola oil. I also tempered it for 1 hour at 375 . The handle is a lttile small but next time ill lenghten it by adding a brass finger gaurd and a thicker piece of buffalow horn if needed. What do ya think . I just need a sheath to fit.

Very nice knife and sheath, it doesn't look like the tusk is to small. The skin on that sheath looks real good too.

I was thinking the same thing about the first set of pictures. The floor and your legs were just not doing it for me...ha ha.
