thin saw blades

Hello all - as usual, I've got a question... how thin a saw blade can I get for my 10" table saw for sawing up knife scales? The blade is currently a standard 10" carbide tipped saw blade and that takes a pretty thick cut from the wood - 1/8" or a tad more? I'd like a smaller diameter blade that cuts a thin kerf (is that the correct term?) to slicing up wood with less waste.

Thanks to all for any guidance or suggestions,

Kerf is the correct term. Grizzly industrial has 10" blades with thin kerfs. I bought a couple a while back for the very same purpose. The ones I bought are ~3/32". That is about the thinnest I've found.

If you go to your local "real" lumber yard, not box stores, they'll have thin kerf blades usually up to 12". I've never had a problem finding blades for all my wood working tools in whatever size. In one of my table saws I run a 10" non carbide planer blade, it's a nice finish quality thin cut.

Thanks Rudy - any idea how thin the kerf is on these planer blades? Think it might be less than the .059" of the blade I linked to?

Thanks again for suggestions,
