A good customer sent me this image, wanting me to make one for him.

I really liked the design, sleek, simple, and oh so functional. Here is my rendition...

Not an exact copy, but close... 1080 steel, ivory handle (a first for me), black G10 liners, and nickle-silver pins. 5 1/8 inch blade, 9 3/4 inches overall length. It is too bad my camera could not capture the subtle grain of the ivory, it is lovely.

This might be as close as I've gotten to a modern style bushcraft knife...

Looking back on it, the point should have been 1/8" higher, mine is a bit lower than the original's...

I'm thinking about making a few variations on this one, one a bit larger, one a bit smaller, with bone handles... working with ivory makes me nervous! But it begs to be put to use...

I don't even like making full-tang knives, but this design is hard for me to dislike.
