I'm going to forge a copper ferrule and/or end cap. It's the same basic process for both. Like the first part of this tutorial:

My buddies Jeff (guitar) and Jason (bladesmithing) are both teaching classes as well, and the guy putting it on is a former student of mine. This is the first event, but it may turn out to be an annual thing.

I had to cancel due to an illness. Jason as well. Next year they should plan it before flu season hits. Mine turned into viral myalgia and his into bronchitis. Not sure if Jeff will still go or not.

Get to feeling better, Tai. I had a couple of bad flu-like episodes knock me on my ass this year, and it sure can take a toll on shop productivity!
