Stop Tru-Oil Hardening

In an earlier posting, most of us complained about Tru-Oil hardening in its original container. Here's one way to keep it liquid.
I simply transferred to the oil to syringes which minimized the amount of air exposed to the oil. I made a little cap plug from some moldable plastic and made a cheap little plate fixture to keep the syringe vertical on my work bench. The syringe slides out of the fixture for use. After using this for about 3 months, I have seen absolutely zero hardening of the oil inside the syringe - it stays liquid! Simple and quick to use, with no possibility of spillage.

Since I bought an 8 oz bottle of the stuff - about 10 time's more than I could ever use - I also transferred the remainder into 2 larger syringes for "bulk" storage.
Again, even with a small amount of entrained air in the syringe, there is no evidence of hardening.

Great idea - I've been using a different method, but think I like your idea best.
