I am going to re do the belt strap the lenghts are to short but I am very happy so far just need to sew and its finished.I bought the rain drop damascus blade and finished it with stabilized thuya burl

One bit of advice is to try to get more clear pictures.
Try outside with a shadow over the object or you can also try a light box.

The rivets kind of distract from the overall look, are they there for a reason?

Just curious. Otherwise it looks like your progressing well.

I know Ernie my pictures suck some times depends if I am wearing my glasses. Also the rvots hold the straps for a belt, I didnt want to cut the sting ray like on my others.

Try sewing the straps on the inside layer, before you put all the pieces together to eliminate the rivets. Also on the front frame around the ray skin move the frame stitching line in to about 3/16" from the edge of the frame by the skin.
